ZehnerGroup is experiencing rapid growth, and we are looking for a Technology leader to join our Executive team. We're looking for a strong leader, communicator and someone that gets excited about taking teams to the next level.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead global 25+ person Technology Department
  • Executive level Technology Leader on sales engagements
  • Project scoping and estimation
  • Set process, expectations, quality of work standards 
  • Identify clear owners across team for various functions
  • Find opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness measurement
  • Standardize technology approach and implementation process
  • Grow, mentor and train Technology staff
  • Creative problem solving 
  • Collaborate with Project Management on staffing, team performance, and client satisfaction
  • Quality assurance and code reviews
  • Management of servers, software and security processes
  • Recruiting and continual building of team
  • Provide Solutions

Experience Guidelines:

  • At least 7 years experience developing and deploying web sites and applications
  • At least 5 years experience as a senior technology lead or architect
  • Experience with providing high, mid and low level plans
  • Ability to manage both on-site and remote developers
  • Mobile Platform development experience including iOS and Android
  • Experience with open source technologies including PHP, Python, JavaScript
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms including Shopify Plus, Magento Enterprise
  • Experience setting up and managing servers
  • Experience hand-coding HTML and CSS
  • Content management system integration and custom development
  • Custom web based application development experience (startup experience is a bonus)

Ability to take ownership

  • Ability and experience provide leadership and direction
  • Comfortable collaborating with designers, front-end developers and other team members
  • Object-oriented design and development strategies
  • Web services experiences is a bonus
  • Proactively manage risk and hold team and self accountable for delivery
